SINGLE CAB FEATURES
The Mitsubishi Triton GLX Single Cab-Cab Chassis 4x2 models are robust, powerful, comfortable and packed with exceptional safety features – all you need and more to get the tough jobs done.
Single Cab shown with optional tray accessory.
A power-assisted rack and pinion set-up means that the Mitsubishi Triton’s 11.8m turning circle provides exceptional manoeuvrability, making it easier to drive and manoeuvre on narrow roads and in crowded building sites.
BUILT FOR POWERING UP
Power – either you’ve got it or you don’t. And with Triton you’ve got it in a big way. The Triton GLX Single Cab-Cab Chassis 4x2 is powered by either a super responsive 2.4 litre petrol matched to a 5-speed manual transmission or 2.4 litre MIVEC turbo diesel engine in 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic with Sports Mode boasting 133kW@3500rpm of power and 430Nm@2500rpm of torque.
Triton’s 6-speed manual gives you total control of power delivery to match driving conditions. The solid stick with shorter, more satisfying shift stroke combines with somewhat lighter clutch for easier operation. The 6-speed automatic transmission with Manual Shift Mode features optimized top gear ratios, improved fuel economy and outstanding engine quietness even at high speeds. And when you want total control, Manual Shift Mode lets you shift up or down with a flick of the lever for sporty, manual-like driving pleasure.
Braked towing capacity
Mitsubishi Triton 4x4* Single Cab models have a 3.0 tonne braked towing capacity. With a Gross Combinations Mass rating of 5.785 tonne and low kerb mass, Triton provides the perfect balance between towing capacity and vehicle payload to suit a range of towing requirements.

Hill Start Assist (HSA)
Steep city streets or congested shopping mall ramps are no longer a problem with Mitsubishi Motor's Hill Start Assist technology. It prevents the car from rolling backwards by maintaining braking force to give you time to move your foot from brake to accelerator.
Rear View Camera (dependent on tray fitted)
When reverse gear is engaged, the rear camera image appears automatically on the display screen, supplementing the driver's rear field of view.
Rear View Camera comes standard with Genuine Mitsubishi Tray Accessory.
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD)
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) works hand-in-hand with Triton’s ABS computer to assess load and distribute braking force between the front and rear wheels. When you have a load in the rear, it optimises brakeforce distribution to help you stop in a shorter distance than with standard brakes.
Active Stability Control (ASC)
Mitsubishi’s Active Stability Control intuitively recognises when you over-steer or under-steer and applies brake force to appropriate wheels to keep you stable through corners.
Active Traction Control (ATC)
Mitsubishi Motor's Traction Control helps maintain traction on most slippery or rugged surfaces. ATC automatically controls the engine output - so driving wheels are prevented from spinning. Sensing loss of traction in independent wheels it then applies braking force to that particular wheel and sends extra power and torque to other wheels with traction, to keep the vehicle moving and in control.
Trailer Stability Assist (TSA)
To prevent ‘trailer swing’ when towing at speed, Trailer Stability Assist (TSA) will control individual wheel slip to stabilise the trailer. The system detects when the trailer is starting to oscillate and automatically warns drivers behind by flashing brake lights on both the car and trailer.
Front Protection Bar
The Alloy Front Protection Bar also integrates with your vehicle's styling and has been rigorously tested to ensure sufficient ventilation to the engine for cooling. It will help protect you, your passengers and your vehicle in the unfortunate event of an accident. In addition, pre-formed mounting points are featured to suit the installation of Driving Lights.
